Dr. Bryan Lara
Dr. Lara grew up between Costa Rica and Greenville, South Carolina. He attended ULACIT School of Dentistry and graduated cum laude as second in his class with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) while also receiving numerous awards.
Following dental school, he attended the Dental College of Georgia for an additional three years, and received his Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics.
During his residency, Dr. Lara received advanced training in esthetics, hybrid prostheses, removable and fixed prosthodontics, implants and full mouth rehabilitation of patients with complex dental conditions. During his residency, he studied under Dr. Gerard Chiche, one of the premier lecturers in esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Lara’s desire to learn did not end after completing his residency. In 2019 he completed a 1-year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Oral Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He received extensive experience in fabricating facial prosthetics and served as a critical member of the cancer rehabilitation team.
Following the completion of his fellowship, Dr. Lara joined Louisiana State University (LSU) as Assistant Clinical Professor with the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
Dr. Lara lectures annually for the prosthodontic residents at the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Lara takes pride in ensuring that every patient receives comfortable dental care of the highest quality.
Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his son, family and friends.
